One of Our Great Inspirers at Asmakam Gram

Jignesh Kanabar, our inspiration for Asmakam Gram, shows an amazing example of living sustainably. Even though he leads a company of 1,500 people, he chooses to live in simplicity, a little example is that he does not use modern chemical products such as soap, toothpaste, shampoos, moisturizers, and more, instead he uses naturally sourced items. In clothing he prefers to wear Khadi.

His way of living isn’t just about personal choice; it’s a strong message. It illustrates that regardless of influence or wealth, embracing simplicity and gratitude is essential in today’s world where these values are often forgotten.

Humble Beginnings to Pursuing Higher Education

Raised in Keshod, a modest village in Gujarat, Jignesh’s schooling journey began in a garage, where his education thrived. Despite humble beginnings, he pursued a Chartered Accountancy degree in Mumbai.

Deeply influenced by Gandhiji and Swami Vivekananda, he embodies their values, leading a life defined by integrity, discipline, and profound ideals.

Use Natural Healing and Restrict the Usage of Technology

Jignesh’s steadfast dedication to leading a holistic lifestyle is admirable. He has always relied on natural healing methods instead of allopathic medicines. His intention to restrict the use of technology is apparent as he does not carry a mobile phone during the day.

His Vision Led Him to Initiate Asmakam Gram

His greatest aspiration is to promote sustainable living and foster a profound connection with nature. His vision goes beyond mere corporate success, seeking to inspire sustainable living practices and a harmonious coexistence with the environment. This vision led him to launch Asmakam Gram, a project encouraging people to connect with mother nature, reviving traditional sustainable practices and nurturing a more harmonious relationship amid humanity and the environment.
